Holly Fulton A/W 11 Preview

I recently got the chance to see Holly Fulton's A/W 11 collection and the only word to describe it is statement. Bold colours and different textures make up the collection inspired by the period Coco Chanel spent in Fulton's native Scotland in the midst of an intense affair with the Duke of Westminster. This sultry and romantic collection definitely reflects the emotion.

The collection has lots of Maxi dresses like this lip print with leather trim. Absolutely my favourite piece!

Disney go Couture

I have recently discovered a new jewellery line from Disney Couture. It is jewellery inspired by Mickey, Snow White and all your favourite Disney characters from your childhood.

The line includes necklaces, rings and earrings. This necklace is inspired by Pirates of the Carribean with a ship in bottle. There was also a skull necklace which was pretty. My camera decided to be stupid and corrupt the picture otherwise I would show you.

The current collection is Snow White inspired collection which includes this 14ct gold plated ring with red crystals. You can buy the jewellery from ASOS.

Disney Couture also does clothes so I saw lovely t-shirts with Mickey prints on it. Do you remember She-ra? I saw the most fabulous t-shirt with a print of her.

Yesterday was the Buy My Wardrobe event in London and it was fantastic. BuyMyWardrobe allows you to buy pre-loved designer items at unbelieveable prices. Some items are brand new and never worn. The collections were from 20 'Wardrobe Mistresses'and included clothes, handbags, shoes and accesories. Here's what I found.

Nails Du Jour: Tangerine

 
Since starting this blog I have become a bit of a nail polish addict. Brights seem to be everywhere so I decided to go a little orange with Rimmel.

The colour is called Tangerine Queen and is from the I Love Lasting Finish range. I used two coats and it went on smooth. Since it is meant to last and be chip resistant, I put it to the test. I put the polish on two days ago and have washed, cleaned and generally put my hands through the wringer. Today, the polish is fairly intact however, there are a few chips on the edges starting to show.

I like the colour and will definitely be wearing it again for summer. What do you think of the Tangerine Queen?
